A North Carolina information station has misplaced two staff members in a helicopter crash.
Meteorologist Jason Myers and pilot Chip Tayag had been killed in a Nov. 22 helicopter crash close to Interstate 77, their information station confirmed.
“The WBTV household is grieving a horrible loss,” WBTV shared in a Nov. 22 assertion. “Our information helicopter Sky3 crashed mid-day Tuesday with two of our colleagues on board. Meteorologist Jason Myers and pilot Chip Tayag misplaced their lives.”
The assertion famous how the station plans to help the households of their late colleagues.
“We’re working to consolation their households on this tough time,” the assertion continued. “We admire the outpouring of help for our workers and your continued prayers for his or her households.”
Tayag, who got here to WBTV in 2017, led a profession as a pilot for over 20 years, the station shared in an article on the crash.
