E! Information: If he needed to observe in your footsteps in showbiz, what recommendation would you give him?

MT: Daryl was actually younger—like 4 or 5—[when] he was like, “I wish to be on the TV.” He knew what he needed to do. Me, I used to be singing in church with my dad after which finally was writing songs at like 8.
