Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley are in mourning.

The Actual Housewives of Orange County couple shared the devastating information that Slade’s 22-year-old son, Grayson Arroyo-Smiley, has handed away. In a press release posted to Gretchen’s Instagram web page on Feb. 7, Gretchen and Slade stated they’re “past devastated and heartbroken” over the loss. 

“He was an Angel on this earth and an unbelievable warrior…a warrior like nobody has ever seen earlier than,” they stated. “He fought on a regular basis by way of his ache and discomfort to search out pleasure within the smallest of issues. He was all the time singing & dancing & laughing regardless of his circumstances.”

Gretchen and Slade—who named their 3-year-old daughter Skylar Grey as a nod to Grayson—continued, “Though his life was minimize brief on earth he made an unbelievable affect on so many individuals. The Lord knew his life had goal and would contact many alongside the way in which. We’re eternally grateful for the numerous classes realized from this little man, and can miss his lovely spirit immensely.”
